This restored inn, which first opened in 1907, has 20 guest rooms and suites "designed to make you feel at home." Home may never have been so good, though, because the rooms include luxurious linens, pastoral-themed oil paintings and antiques. The restaurant offers fine dining in an elegant setting with high ceilings, mahogany woodwork and chandeliers. The "progressive American" menu features only fresh ingredients; even the desserts are homemade. The extensive wine list won an award from The Wine Spectator.
