About

The refuge is a 187-acre peninsula jutting into Noyack and Little Peconic bays. There are sandy and rocky beaches and wooded bluffs overlooking the bays. Saltwater fishing from shore is permitted. Nesting platforms and boxes have been built for birds, including threatened or endangered species such as piping plover, least tern and roseate tern.
