Hollywood Wax Museum

As the only wax museum in the country devoted entirely to celebrity figures, the Hollywood Wax Museum in Branson is located along landmark Highway 76. A recent renovation added more star power to the museum, and visitors can now pose with the most famous people in show business. Shepherd of the Hills Outdoor Drama Show

Since the 1960s, this outdoor show has told the story of Harold Bell Wright’s legendary novel, Shepherd of the Hills. You can take a tram tour of the early 20th-century homestead on the property, including Old Matt’s Cabin, which is the original home of the characters featured in the novel, or take in a nightly recreation of the book itself. Wright relocated to the Ozark region after being diagnosed with tuberculosis and stayed at the homestead of John and Anna Ross, where he returned every summer for eight years.
