Located 16 miles south of Bismarck/Mandan, Huff Hills Ski Resort is North Dakota's largest ski area. Skiing and snowboarding are offered from roughly Thanksgiving weekend to the second or third week in March. There’s a dedicated area for beginners, and lessons are also available. There are also 16 runs (the longest is .75 miles long) and four lifts.
