Kiawah Island Resort Reopens After Historic South Carolina Rains

Kiawah Island Golf Resort near Charleston, SC, reopened Wednesday, October 7th following the storms that inundated the state, dropping  more than 24 inches of rain on Kiawah Island over a three-day period. Throughout the storm, The Sanctuary at Kiawah Island Resort and the Villa Resort remained open, serving guests who remained, as did three of the Resort’s restaurants.
