Go west over the George Washington Bridge into New Jersey. Follow Rte. 4 west through Hackensack and Teaneck. Rte. 4 turns into Rte. 208. Take Rte. 208 north. Merge into I-287 south to exit 57. Turn right onto Skyline Dr. and follow it over a mountain. At a stop sign, stay left (you’re still on Skyline). At a second stop sign, turn left onto Rte. 511 south. Go 1 7/10 mi. Turn right onto Westbrook Rd. Cross Wanaque Reservoir. At a fork in the road, bear left, following Westbrook Rd. Pass Townsend Rd. and make the next left onto Snake Den Rd. Bear left at the next fork, following Snake Den Rd. Pass Ellen St. and turn right into the Weis Ecology Center parking lot.
