From New York City, take the PATH train to Hoboken, where you connect to New Jersey Transit's Gladstone Line to Bernardsville. For schedules, go to New Jersey Transit. From the Bernardsville train station, a taxi can take you to Jockey Hollow, a trip of about 5 mi. You can call for the return trip from a phone booth at the park.
At the junction of I-287 and I-80 in New Jersey, head south in I-287 to exit 33/Harter Rd. Turn left onto Harter Rd. and proceed 8/10 of a mile. Turn left at a light onto Mount Kemble Ave./Rte. 202. Proceed 2.2 milies. Turn right onto Tempe Wick Rd. Proceed 1 1/2 miles, and turn right into the entrance of the Morristown Historical Park. Park in the parking lot by the visitors center.
