Scottsdale CVB Announces Major Resort Makeovers
Three of Scottsdale’s luxury resorts are getting multi-million-dollar facelifts, gearing up for their big reveals in the coming months. In December, Boulders Resort & Spa will debut new architectural elements and color schemes that embrace the resort’s indigenous inspirations and Old West charm. The property’s revamped Latilla Ballroom will also be unveiled, its floor-to-ceiling windows showcasing the lush Sonoran Desert, with the room opening up to an outdoor patio with an adobe wood-burning fireplace. In early 2016, the Sanctuary on Camelback Mountain Resort & Spa will unveil Spa House, part of a $10 million renovation that has converted one of its private residences into a spa and wellness compound perfect for small groups. Finally, the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess will open 102 additional guest rooms next summer, including three luxury suites. And meeting attendees can dive into the all new Sunset Beach—at 6,900 square feet, it will be the largest of the six pools at the property—and enjoy the new Great Lawn, a 35,000-square-foot outdoor space that can accommodate up to 2,000 guests.
