Luckenbach, TX
One of the most famous destinations in the U.S. – the intimate-yet-infamous Texas Hill Country hamlet of Luckenbach, made famous in the 1977 song by Waylon Jennings and Willie Nelson – is just a stone’s throw down the road from the enchanting, historic town of Fredericksburg, TX. Luckenbach is comprised of just two main buildings and a parking lot down a dirt road. There’s a general store, post office, beer joint and a 3,000-square-foot, wood-floored dance hall – the ideal place for an unforgettable off-site event. The dance hall is equipped with 29 picnic-style tables that can seat 150–225 people if you want the dance floor left open, or you can add more tables to accommodate up to 300 if need be. As the town’s website says, “Not only can you rent the world famous Luckenbach Dance Hall, you can rent the whole dang place – all 10 magnificent acres!”
