Mercer Museum
The Mercer Museum, a six-story concrete castle built in 1916 by archaeologist and tile-maker Henry Mercer, is a National Historic Landmark. The museum displays nearly 30,000 items ranging from hand tools to horse-drawn vehicles, including smaller exhibits covering tinsmithing, dairying, carpentry, pharmacology, etc. The adjoining Elkins Gallery can be booked for group events of up to 150 people. Smaller meeting rooms and spaces in the Museum are also available for rental on request.
