Center In The Square
Roanoke is on the rise. And right in the middle of a revitalized downtown, you’ll find Center in the Square, which houses four cultural arts and science nonprofit organizations:

This incredibly diverse, state-of-the-art, seven-story building offers a multitude of special event spaces, including the Advance Auto Parts Atrium, an 8,000-square-foot space that can handle groups of up to 500 with its 5,500 gallon living coral-reef aquarium housing over 250 colorful marine fish and two separate large, cylindrical aquariums holding up to 36 Moon Jellyfish each and connected by a tidal estuary; The Rooftop Butterfly Deck, the Center’s dramatic open-air green space designed to meet the highest standards for sustainability, with capacity of 290 standing or 135 seated; The Rooftop Deck and Gardens, located at the highest spot on the roof with an observation deck that overlooks the Atrium down to the ground floor – perfect for receptions of up to 220 people; and the Board Room, the perfect setting for a more intimate event of up to 40 people. www.centerinthesquare.org
