Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport is served by Allegiant, American/USAir and Delta, with nonstop service to seven cities including Charlotte NC, Chicago, Dallas, Washington DC, Atlanta, Tampa and Orlando, with a bus shuttle available to the Nashville airport, about 130 miles to the northwest.
The city is easily accessed from Atlanta and the southeast by I-75, Birmingham AL and the southwest via I-59; Nashville and the northwest via I-24; and from Knoxville and the northeast via I-75 and I-81. Interstates also make for easy access to the Carolinas and the coast.
Ironically, Chattanooga, once a major railroad hub, has never been served by Amtrak.
