L'Auberge de Carolles is a small, comfortable hotel located in a quiet area adjacent to the church in Carolles, half an hour from Mont Saint-Michel and close to Carolles's beach (1.5 km, or about 1 mile, away). Guests can take a beautiful walk to the beach along an abandoned rail bed through what is called the Vallee des Peintres (Valley of Painters).
