The Harbor View at the end of North Water Street is the largest hotel in Edgartown. Built in 1891, it overlooks Edgartown Lighthouse, a harbor and Chappaquiddick Island and is flanked on both sides of the street by homes of 19th-Century whaling captains. In the main building, room sizes, room amenities and room features vary. Some rooms have a private porch. All rooms in the Governor Mayhew Building have a private balcony. There are four meeting rooms offering 4,700 square feet of space and outdoor spaces for meals, clambakes and functions.
