Named for the mountain inside its boundaries, Mount Tom is one of the oldest parks in the state park system. A stone tower on top of the mountain provides great views. The park has a swimming beach, many picnic tables near Mount Tom Pond and canoe and kayak rentals. Open daily 8 a.m.-sunset.
