There's good reason: the setting in the foothills west of Pikes Peak is spectacular, and there are great hikes as outlined in the Outdoors section. These well-equipped cabins, each adjacent to the other amidst other camp sites, offer a bargain, with the largest four bedroom, two-bath unit renting for well under $300 a night in peak season.
