Several meeting rooms and a 500-seat theater are in Newtown's historic Edmond Town Hall. The most spacious meeting room is the Alexandria Room, which has a small stage and an adjacent kitchen. The nearby 19th-Century Newtown Meeting House is a unique venue for events and weddings. It seats up to 196 people on the main level and 50 in the balcony. The balcony has a 1914 pipe organ, and a Yamaha grand piano is on the main level. Other meetings spaces are available at The Amber Room Colonnade in Danbury, several Danbury hotels, including the Ethan Allen Hotel and the Crowne Plaza, and The Waterview in Monroe. Only a handful of B&B/inn rooms are available in Newtown, but there are plenty of rooms nearby at chain hotels in Bethel and Danbury.
