This is a setting almost unlike anywhere else in the U.S. for a family vacation, wedding, business retreat, or just an escape for two. Lodgings consist of 58 well-appointed cottages built in the late 19th century and early 20th century by members of the Chatauqua movement, which, while Methodist of origin, was dedicated to promoting nondenominational education and an appreciation for the arts and the enjoyment of food. Colorado Chautauqua is one of the last of the communities set up at the height of the movement over 100 years ago, and offers unique, comfortably furnished accommodations evocative of its past. It is located adjacent to the exceptional hiking opportunities in the Boulder Flatirons. There are various sizes of meeting facilities, including a large community hall, and outdoor settings abound for weddings or events.
