The Lyme Art Colony was based in Florence Griswold's boardinghouse in the early 20th Century. It is now an attractive American art and history museum. Besides the house, there is the Krieble Gallery, which presents exhibitions that change up to four times per year. Sit on the riverside veranda at Cafe Flo and enjoy a relaxing lunch featuring foods from local farmers.
